“I’ve admired the work of Leaf Home for a long time because it offers an accessible solution to homeowners looking to make their homes last longer. The idea of being a part of it and dreaming of new solutions to make ownership easier was something I couldn’t pass up.”
“I love my kitchen! It’s the center point of creativity and social activity. In fact, I cook for my family several times a week. Everyone jumps in with new recipe ideas and we all figure out how to pull it off together. Some of the best memories I have are linked to the special meals we’ve created and enjoyed as a family – even the “fails”! The connectivity it creates is extraordinary, and I’m so thankful we love to do it together.”

“It really came down to three things for me, the market opportunity, our unique business model, and most importantly, the people I met at Leaf Home. With 66% of Americans living in their own homes, and 50% of them worried about the cost and effort of home maintenance, we have a massive opportunity to support our customers dream and investment through quality, scale, and innovation. With a field team across 200 offices, Leaf has the largest last mile platform for bringing any home solution to the consumer’s doorstep. This is not easy to build and scale, and I know this is only possible because of AMAZING people and a culture of winning together…which is something I have felt in every interaction with Leaf Home employees. I am really excited to be part of this winning culture!”
“Our backyard and patio is a source of joy for my whole family! It is a safe space for my kids to hang out, an outdoor dining spot for the whole family whenever weather permits, and it also provides such a beautiful soothing view when I look out from our living room on a chaotic, busy day.”
As Chief Sales Officer, Chris manages a growing network of customer service delivery centers and sales teams, consisting of over 2,500 managers and sales representatives across North America. He created and implemented the company’s key point selling system, which brought a unified structure, growing the business from 12 locations when he joined in 2012 to over 200.
Chris leads high-quality direct-to-consumer sales and installation services in all field locations through Leaf Home’s four brands, and is responsible for driving revenue through organic growth and building meaningful industry relationships that lead to partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions.
“I was a friend and colleague of Matt Kaulig, the founder and CEO of LeafFilter, for 20 years before joining the team. The company embodied a culture I believe in, including driving a structured selling system and promoting from within. I feel we are uniquely positioned to make homeownership easy for our customers because we can bring speed, education, and quality to every product and service we offer. But even more importantly it’s the stability of our company and the trust that builds with our customers from the very start. If you ever need service, we will stand behind the purchase that you made! That’s a good feeling.”
“I enjoy the natural light of our dining room, and my dog Oliver enjoys laying on the hardwood when the sun hits the floor. The furniture is heavy, and the room stays as is 99% of the time, but because this room is only used at holidays and celebrations, it’s full of positive, wonderful memories of family and friends together. Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter may be the only days of the year when you’ll find people in the chairs, but those memories will last forever.”

“I met the founder in 2016 and saw an amazing opportunity to join a company that was creating a market that didn’t really exist. I am a problem solver and innovator at heart, so finding ways to solve this unmet need is exciting and goes to the core of my being. For me, home is the place that you always return to for comfort and togetherness. It’s the place where your kids grow up and always remember. It’s the main backdrop to your personal life, and we help you protect it.”
“My backyard. It’s a tranquil, relaxing space that allows me to get away from it all for short periods of time, while also being able to enjoy time with my family and friends.”

“First, the ingenuity of this team is astounding! I’m in awe that from the relatively low tech invention that was at the core of LeafFilter, we’ve been able to build a highly successful business with very strong operations based on the ingenious idea of making gutter management and home ownership easier for millions of Americans. Secondly, I love how grounded everyone is in making every day a success through operational excellence and hard work.
For many immigrants like me, owning a home is an American Dream. Coming from a very humble place where I lived with my parents in a one bedroom apartment for 15 years, it was a huge accomplishment and a responsibility to own my own property.
Knowing that for our customers, home may be their biggest investment and a sign of independence. This makes our work very real. In 10 years almost a third of Americans will be at the retirement age, and it is incredible to know that we can help them take care of their biggest asset.”
“Cliche, but it is the family room. It has a cozy fireplace, but fairly old furniture and TV. I know our house is a home because my daughter looks forward to weekend movie nights. She says ‘I want to watch a movie on the couch with my dog and my mom.”
Sean is the Chief Human Resources Officer of Leaf Home. Since joining Leaf in 2019 as the Vice President of Talent and Human Resources, Sean has spearheaded a number of improvements, including a focus on programmatic recruitment advertising, the implementation of a new learning management system to both invest in employees and keep up with state-compliant training, and fostering new initiatives to emphasize diversity and inclusion recruiting.
Sean brings with him 15 years of expertise with proven success in recruiting, human resources, and talent management. Before joining Leaf, he was previously the Director of Talent Acquisition for National General Insurance, where he was responsible for all human capital planning and recruitment marketing. Sean earned his B.S. from DePaul University.
“The opportunity to build and improve (pun intended) the lives of homeowners and our valued team members. Leaf is powered by people and leading a team responsible for bettering the lives of people and their families is a tremendous honor.”
“The garage – a space I fell in love with as a little kid seeing my dad work on daily drivers and race cars. Now that I have children of my own, seeing the bond develop between myself and son and daughter while spending time “fixing the cars” is a truly special moment I cannot replicate anywhere else.”

Chris also manages Leaf Home’s growing network of field marketing employees, which consists of over 600 team members across the company’s four brands. With a focus on business and talent development, he has helped drive the expansion and success of Leaf Home’s marketing efforts across North America in all field locations.
Prior to his current role, Chris ran all marketing efforts across Leaf Home, including the launch of the company’s print and postcard distribution, event marketing, and digital marketing efforts. Chris earned his B.B.A in Marketing and Management from Ohio University.
“I’ve been with Leaf since its inception. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and wanted to be part of something new where I could create and grow a business with a product that I believe in.
I continue to be here for the same reasons today. New product categories, process improvement, innovation, creating satisfied customers, increasing efficiencies and working with great people is why I’m still here.”
“My backyard. It’s a great space and my family (including our two golden retrievers) spends time running around the yard, playing games, swimming, sledding and sitting by the fire watching one of our favorite shows.”

“I love the growth trajectory of the company and its desire to expand its product offerings to homeowners. Homeownership gives me a sense of security; it offers my family a stable, comfortable environment where we can create memories, so I feel great working for a company that can do this for others. Because the truth is that home repairs can add a great deal of stress in the place that is supposed to give us serenity. I want Leaf Home to help take that stress away and help enhance the time we spend in our homes.”
“My outside deck and patio is my happy place…especially when I am grilling for friends and family!”
