Charlotte, NC – LeafFilter North sponsored the No. 32 Ford Fusion stock car in NASCAR’s Bank of America 500 Race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 11, 2014. This race marks the first time LeafFilter has been involved in the NASCAR Sprint Series.
“We are happy to have partnered with Go Green Racing and to sponsor the No. 32 car for the first time,” mentions Matt Kaulig, president of LeafFilter™ North, Inc. “It was exciting for the entire LeafFilter team to finally be involved in the NASCAR community, and to be a part of the Sprint Cup Series.”
Go Green Racing debuted in 2009 in NASCAR, competing in the Nationwide Series, before adding a part time team to compete in the Sprint Cup Series in 2012. In late 2013, Go Green and FAS Lane Racing entered a joint venture to manage the No. 32 Ford Fusion for the Sprint Cup Series in 2014.
Blake Koch drove the No. 32 Ford for Go FAS Racing at the Bank of America 500 Race. Koch began his racing career at the age of 22. Prior to transitioning into the NASCAR arena in 2008, Koch raced on two wheels and was considered one of the top motocross competitors in Florida.
The Bank of America 500 is one of NASCAR’s most prestigious events. Held at the famed Charlotte Motor Speedway, the 500 mile race is NASCAR’s only Saturday night race in the “Chase for the Sprint Cup.” LeafFilter was excited to be a part of the Sprint Cup Series and proud to have partnered with Go FAS Racing for this event.
