The privately owned company based in Hudson, Ohio was founded by Matt Kaulig, a former University of Akron Quarterback. Kaulig started LeafFilter™ as small business operation out of his garage in Northeast Ohio. Since then, operations have grown into one of the largest remodeling companies in the nation, expanding from one office in Akron to 25 offices throughout the East Coast, Midwest, Southern States, and Pacific Northwest. In the past ten years, LeafFilter™ has installed more than 20 million feet of gutter guards and served more than 85,000 customers – with zero cases of clogged gutters.
